Program Description:


  • Chukyo University is a four-year university located on two campuses, the main campus of Nagoya, and Toyota.
  • Most students with limited Japanese skills take intensive Japanese language courses, calligraphy, Judo and other martial arts, and courses offered in English through the College of World Englishes, such as Japanese Culture and Comparative Cultures.
  • This long standing partner offers excellent support and the Nagoya community is ideal for cultural and linguistic immersion.
  •  Final acceptance is based on host university approval


  • Private studio apartments are located within easy biking distance to the main Nagoya campus.
